Create Your Inexpensive Home Gym
In my live fitness training studio, I have all of the equipment that you usually find in a gym- dumbbells, barbells, smith machine, leg curls and leg extension, bench press equipment, etc. Still, half the time, my clients and I skip the machines and stick to the balls and bands. Don't get me wrong- I love all workout equipment. But, sometimes the most fun, and most effective exercises require little to no equipment. And some of the best strength training equipment costs very little and can be stored under a bed.
Here are some of my very favorite pieces of strength training equipment:
- A pull up bar. These are very inexpensive and can easily be installed in any doorway. A pull up bar is all you need to get a great back and biceps workout.
- An exercise ball. These are very affordable (I saw one advertised recently for only $9!) They are great for leg, ab, chest, arm, shoulder, and back exercises. There are hundreds of possible exercises to be done with an exercise ball. In fact, if you have an exercise ball, you have a home gym.
- A resistance band. These are great because they take up almost no space at all and they travel very well. Just throw one into your suitcase and you won't need to depend on hotel gyms. These are great for all types of strength exercises and can replace expensive, heavy weights.
You can find all of the best of these fitness products here. So, forget the expensive and inconvenient gym membership, and stop saving up for your dream home gym. Just get an exercise ball, a strong resistance band, and a mat. Then, sign up for your free membership to MyFitnessTrainer.com, and get to work! You'll love the calorie-burning, body-toning results.
P.S. Do you love exercise equipment and fitness products as much as I do? If so, you might enjoy these other products that I put on my faves list.
